Founded in 1919, Ing. Enea Mattei SpA based in Milan – Italy, is the world’s leading manufacturer of rotary vane air compressors and has been represented in the UK since 1987 by its wholly owned subsidiary Mattei Compressors Ltd.
Mattei in the UK worked very closely with On-Vehicle Energy over the years, supplying compressors for use with its on-vehicle power systems since the early 1990’s. This relationship led to Mattei’s acquisition of the company in 2015 and has since allowed it to develop and grow the business with exciting new on-vehicle energy solutions for both the UK and overseas markets.
Mattei is renowned for the continuous investment in the development and improvement of its compressors in order to ensure that they remain the industry leader in terms of their energy efficiency and reliability.
